I remember waiting, sitting on top of a newspaper dispenser to find a proper character for the backdrop I had waited and looked for all day. The white garage door was gleaming from the setting sun and there rode a man on his bike, going where, who knows. But for a moment in time, he sat here as a statue for me in this photo. While I know in my mind he's moving forward and will be gone from my frame in an instant, here, he seems motionless. A permanent fixture on my negative he is.
